Lewes Castle is one of the few wedding venues in the South East where vows can be exchanged in the open air in glorious surroundings. Standing proudly at the heart of the beautiful South Downs, the castle offers you and your guests a unique historic venue with unrivalled hilltop views southwards to the sea and northwards towards the Weald. Built more than 900 hundred years ago as a Norman stronghold, its first owners were William de Warenne and his beloved wife Gundrada. Now we invite you too, to share in the Castle's romance and become a part of its never-ending story.
