Those coming from the west enter via the Ashcombe roundabout and continue straight on the Brighton Road, A227 into Lewes before turning right at the Prison Crossroads and left at the mini-roundabout onto Southover High Street.
Lewes railway station is served by regular trains from Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings and London, which is just over an hour and twenty minutes journey.
There are numerous parking areas in Lewes. There are long-stay parking spaces in the streets close to the House at £1.50 for the whole day Monday to Saturday, and free on Sundays.
